I was reading few of Vitalik's tweets about best practices for privacy. I noticed he was mentioning/using something called "mixnets". Naturally I asked Astra wtf is a "mixnet" and which one should I use.

What I found was a very undervalued, less known, yet very high quality project and wanted to bring broader crypto community's attention to.

- Nym is similar to zcash in this way. Next-gen network privacy than the most commonly used alternatives like MullVad VPN, Tor.
- Nym also has strong mindshare among crypto cypherpunks. Mert, zooko, zodl, vizor team etc to name a few.
- Nym team has been heads down focused on building, researching the product since 2018.
- Nym founder Harry Haplin, is very well known respected figure in cypherphunk circles. He has very strong technical and research background as an MIT scientist.
- The product came out of beta last year and slowly getting adoption from cypherpunks. Team is more distribution focused now. Increasing number of partenrships and integration this year make this clear.
